I was at Corvera yesterday and I have to say it looks very impressive. It is even better than I expected. The Menta apartments had an unbelievable amount of space between each block, far more than any other development I have seen. We're going back again before we come home so if anyone has any questions please let me know before next Wednesday. Have taken lots of photos which i'll post next week when I get back. Also visited Roda, had a good look round the new club house which opens next weds 23rd and I have to say it looks superb.

Thanks Coxa,

Really good news! Can't wait for the photographs. If things are looking so good, why does Calidonia not post frequent photo updates and information on both resorts? Seems like it would be an excellent public relations exercise in their favour and set precedent for any future resorts they develop.

Ash

Hi Coxa,

Thats fantastic, thanks for the update. Really looking forward to the photos 'cos I'm not getting back over until August, its seems like an age. I'm in a Laurel on phase two, any sign of progress on them? Don't mean to be a pest but you know yourself just dying for any info at all.

Cheers,

Gina

Hi Coxa

Like Gina I can't wait to get back out there. Did you get a similar feeling of space between the villas, assuming there are any up ? Did they let you on site or were you on the viewing platform.

Cheers Dave

Hi Coxa,

Looking forward to seeing the photo's, If you could ask if they have a more firm date for the start of the golf course that would be much appreciated, also what kind of development is going on around Corvera village.

Thanks

Kev/Lou

This has got me excited as well as we have a Menta apartment and I guess the problem with off-plan is , despite the drawings , we have never a clue as to what they will look like in the end. Can I ask if the Menta apartments currently in the process of being built are Phase 1 or phase 2: I think Menta were only started in Phase 2 if I remember rightly so this would be extra-exciting news!

Looks like you've got everyone exited coxa!  Thanks for the update.  You mentioned Menta apartments which I thought were in a later release than Tilos which are Phase I.  Any info about them would be very much appreciated.  Also interested in activity in Corvera town.  Thanks in advance for anything you can find out.

Anita.

Hi all The photos that we took were from the viewing platform, from down the road from the office and from behind the resort in Corvera town itself. We couldn't actually get onto the site as there were no entry signs up. Certainly there are some frontline villas erected with the shuttering completed and some with concrete sloping roofs but I couldn't get close enough to see what space there was between them. Will try and have another look when I go again in the next few days. The golf course has been started with ground clearing and levelling. Rosa advised that the final design is not yet complete. However it could only be seeded in the summer which in Corvera means June so the course will not be seeded until June 2009 with the course being ready in 2010. The Menta apartments are phase 2, the Tilos phase 1 with both phases scheduled for completion May 2009. Rosa did point out that not everyone would be able to complete at the same time due to the sheer number-approx 780 I think she said. There are a couple of smart new buildings in the town with also 3 or 4 cranes around the place. Will be visiting on Monday so will post again then and ask any other questions you might have. Mandy and Ian
