Has anyone else received an e-mail from Rosa Barreira, at Corvera, asking for all contact details including the reference of the property we are buying? It seems very strange to me that after sending a number of communications and vouchers for free golf that they suddenly need to update their records. Surely they will have details of the solicitors we are dealing through. I am always suspicious of people asking for details via e-mail. Am I being over cautious?

I too got the e-mail from Rosa last night. All I can say is that the reply address was the one that I already had for her at Corvera. Seems above board. Perhaps they were trying to contact us all to let us know that the whole site including golf course had been completed in the last two days????

why would they ask for information they already have on compter, whenever i have visited corvera they have asked my name and then checked on the computer, they have all the information including apartment numbers on screen.

all this information would have been retained from the original contract documents, seems a bit strange to me, by the way rosa is still respoding to e -mails so i would assume that sheis still on the staff at corvera

just to say that I had stated that I had thought that Rosa had left from reading some one elses message ( I can't remember whos now), this appeared to be reinforced by the fact that the last couple of times I used her email address Pablo replied. I have not had any such request for details,  the request does come accross as a bit odd, perhaps it might be worth emailing Pablo to check that this is all above board (Pablos email is  pbuitrago@corveragolf.com ), can't be too careful.

When I received the e-mail I responded saying that my details had not changed and asking why they wanted the information again and what mail had been returned. As yet I have received no reply!! I will send a copy to Pablo as suggested and let you know if I get any response. If nothing is forthcoming then I will get on the phone.

I received a similar message from Pablo.  He said that they had tried to send me some correspondence recently but it had been returned undelivered.  So far I think I have received everything that everyone else has so I don't know what he is talking about.

Yes - there seems to have been a problem with delivering unspecified mail, to different destinations throughout the UK and only affecting Corvera. Usual nonsense.

I have now received the following message from Corvera

It seems to me that the e-mail sent out refers to some mail being returned and not necessarily mail sent to any of us specifically. Something got lost in translation I think!

I got this request again.

I have had a request but done nothing with it. I received some mail from them last year and so cannot really think they do not have full records. They can contact us through our solicitor and failing that ring us (unless they have lost our phone numbers as well).

rosa left a message on my mobile the week before last asking me to phone back - did so and had the impression it was the office. she explained about the letter and that i hadn't responded. she said they were contacting everybody. turns out they did have an error in the address (which explained not receiving it...) seemed straight forward enough.

I haven't been contacted so far so unless they are gradually working through the client list it sounds a bit random!
