When we were sold our corvera apartment the salesman told us that Corvera owners would have access to the Roda beach club. Does anybody know if this is true as there does not appear to be anything in the current marketing of  Corvera to suggest this is the case.

Hi Cazbaz, I think you'll find that we are not going to be allowed to use the Roda Beach Club.  I'm sure I remember our salesman stating that when we purchased and I'm sure it is also mentioned on the Roda forum.

Anita.

I was told that because our golf course wouldn't be finished by phase 1 & 2 completion there would be a bus service to use the Roda course. I wasn't told I could use the beach club and would think that would be unlikely as it's a special part of the purchase at Roda.

Shame - but fair enough.

Obviously it was just sales hype but it worked on me!

Owners at Corvera cannot use the beach club and this is for one simple reason, it is not big enough to service 2 developments. Owners at Corvera can use all of the other facilities at Roda and get get owner discounts on the golf course.

Hi

I was also told that Corvera owners may get the chance to go to the beach club, but it was on the assumption that if the beach club was half empty then the roda management would boost business by giving Corvera owners, limited access, maybe off season or midweek etc.

It all depends on the beach cub turning a profit, if its a ghost resort, I can guarantee we will get an invite.

I questioned Colidona on this matter and got a reply back a few days ago which was:

"roda golfs beach club is exclusive for roda golf. there might be a possibility of it opening occasionally to the public depending on the time of year"

The chances are that Roda Beach club will be very popular with the Roda people, but there are some fantastic puplic beaches around anyway so it is not a big issue anyway.

Just read a thread on a different forum which has the latest update from Roda. The mini-bus will leave Roda at 10.00am and return at 7.00pm (once a day) at a cost of 10 euros per person. Seems like even the guys at Roda have been sold a bit of a pup ! The beaches around San Pedro Del Pinatar etc. are plenty good enough for me !

Hi,

My agent has spoken to Calidona and they said that the decision as to whether the owners from Corvera will be able to use the beach club will be down to De Vere Hotels as they are the ones running it.

Hi There,

When I purchased in Phase 1, MRI specifically told me that there shall be a shuttle every 20 mintutes or so from the hotel to Roda to catch a ferry to the Beach Club !!!!

Anybody got this in writing?

Rav

Have visited the beach club which opened two days ago.  Everyone in the Roda offices are saying Corverra are unlikely to be invited.  However, on inspection there is no where near enough room for the people on Roda let alone extra people.  To be honest the beaches in Los Alcazares are better!

When we purchased we were told there would be "regular" shuttle services to both Murcia city and to "the coast".  We were also told that it was hoped to have in place a reciprocal arrangement whereby Corvera could use Roda Beach Club and Roda could use Corvera Sports & Equestrian facilities.  However none of this was in writing.  Having now done more exploring we think there are some very nice beaches to be found along the coastline and are certainly not bothered about not being able to use Roda's beach club.

We were told the same as Difi. But I agree, I'd rather do the short drive to LA and stay for as long as I want, then the extra travel and time constraints involved to get to the beach club, where presumably you won't have the same amount of choice as to when to come and go, where to eat, what beach to use etc.
