How much tax on resales?

Hi All,

Im looking at investing off plan with Majestic and possibly encouraging people I know to join me.Whats the deal?Have investors at previously completed sites really made the returns that Majestic have told me.How saleable are the units at completion as the whole concept relys on the subsequent resale of the units by Majestic/

Any feedback from anyone who knows good or bad would be very useful

my husband and i invested with them a couple of years ago at another one of their properties we bought an apartment and a terraced house. when they sold the apartment for us we made very reasonable money, didn't quite double it but we were by no means disappointed.we subsequently invested into another townhouse which we intend to sell on too.the original house we bought we had an offer on but have now decided that we want to rent it out (and if i'm honest i quite fancied the odd shopping holiday!).from what i have seen on this site majestic have had some bad press and i have kept quiet up until now though I have to say that as far as we are concerned it's unjustified.i guess people only share negative things not positive.

I think what people are forgetting is that Majestic must have expanded too much and as a result came into financial difficulty.......hence the bad press etc...would anyone like thinks to go wrong when they invest 30% deposits....when things drag on and no one informs investors what is REALLY happening...many fairy stories have been told in the past 12 months by Majestic!!!

Just to let you all know that I won my case against Majestic...but am still awaiting the cash!!!
