Seeing as Tim and Duncan have setup a new business for franchisees after closing down Sunset Estates, I thought I would start the ball rolling to show prospective new customers of Tim and Duncan that they might like to consider giving them any money.
We were prospective Arcos apartment buyers, but when we learnt that the apartments would take much longer to build than first told by Duncan and Tim and also that there would be no view of the lake from the 2nd floor (another lie by Duncan) we switched the 5,000€ deposit to a town house.
The pair also signed both our deposit agreements allowing us to cross out the non-returnable section on the back of the contract. (there signatures proved to be worthless) as when I found out they were trying to overcharge us for a townhouse (219,000€) we pulled out and asked for our returnable deposit back as we could no longer trust them.
Tim and Duncan both went back on their word regarding the deposit and I am sure there are many others who will have far worse stories than ours.
So we lost 5,000€ how much have you lost?
P.S. I always found Linda to be a model employee of Sunset Estates and having met her in January of this year I have no problems with her at all and my guess is that she is being blamed for their failings.
