Spanish courses in Valencia??

I beleive that a few people have left Sunset Estates including Linda.

 Idont know what's going on,my wife is just back from Spain and she heard a few rumours.

She also heard that because of the downturn in the market that the properties have fallen quite a bit.

So for anyone who is there to make a quick buck,will be very disappointed.

Hi all, can anybody help us? We have bought a townhouse on the Novo arcos development. In January we paid the fee for our Kitchen, air-conditioning, cleaning to Lynda Carter who we assumed was after-care manager working for sunset estates.  However, Lynda Carter has left with our money in her bank-account still. The work hasn't been done. Sunset estates emailed us to say we have to pursue this with Lynda Carter directly as she was just self-employed not working for them. Apparently she still owes them money. Has anybody any ideas what to do? Lynda Carter has been ignoring communicaton for weeks & is obviously not contactable.

This is my first posting.

I have completed on an apartment at Novos Arcos and also have problems regarding the Kitchen.Sunset Estates owe me 5000 euro,s towards the Kitchen that was due to be installed last December but apparently the supplier sent the wrong kitchens and then went into liquidation over xmas hols,thats the story i got.

I  have been in regular contact with Lynda Carter over this,(who i met and got a good impression of her,honourable etc) and all seemed ok until Lynda,s..well gone.

I have called Sunset Estates several times and Tim,s mobile but no calls back.I have also emailed Luis the solicitor on this issue but he has not responded.

I am thinking to come over to Arcos in May to see whats going on,or try to...

I would appreciate if i can make a contact with those of you over there regarding this and as i dont speak spanish also.

For those of us who have not yet completed, does anyone know what happens regarding contracts etc if Sunset were to disappear? I would hope we can still complete direct with Romanber but I don't know exactly how this works. My contract is with Sunset, although I also have a copy of the contract that Sunset has with Romanber for my property.

Hi are you buying from Sunset or Romanber, our contract states that we are buying from Romanber.  Therefore hoping that if Sunset are in trouble it will not affect our purchase, or am I being naive.

We bought a Town House from Sunset Estates in September 2005 and Signed for it in August 2007 within that time the only contact we had with Sunset was when we flew back out to sign in Nov 2005 So with regards to anything happening to Sunset I don't think you will have a problem with your contract as that is with the builders.

We used a Soliciter Called Juan Ramon who was recommended by Sunset but he only took on about 10 Client as he said to us he didn't like the way Sunset did Business.He then dealt with everything including introducing us to Banca March to get our Mortgage direct as Sunset had told us we need to do it through The Mortgage Shop costing €750???

Since Signing we have been back to Arcos 4 times and are now enjoying are house.We met Judy when we stayed in her apartment back in 2006 and she has since sorted our kitchen and air con and would highly recommend the work she does if anyone would like photos of our please email me.
