Hi All,
We also had our 'courtesy visit' last week and must say were very pleased with the standard of workmanship in the apartment. Have taken a few photos so may try and get those posted on the site in a day or so. I'm not making any promises though as my internet seems to be a bit 'hit & miss' at the moment.
The talk about reduced prices is obviously disturbing and like many others we couldn't resist looking in the local estate agent's windows - probably not wise! Unfortunately this can happen in any market, prices can go down as well as up, but long term, the likleyhood is that they will increase in value (says she hopefully). The people who will be most affected are those who speculated on one or more property with the intention (hope) of selling on completion at a profit. Though it's tempting to 'cut your losses' I still think 'sitting tight' is probably the best option if people are in a position to do so.
On a happier note - it was great to have the opportunity to meet up with some of the Thalassa residents last week for their meal at the Balconcita and especially good to put some 'faces to names' - Noreen & Ann-Marie, Dave & Sue, Dave & Anita and make a few new friends too.
Thanks again Noreen for all your 'helpful hints' and Dave (Baxter) - it was great to make contact and we will definitely be in touch a bit closer to completion.
