I was also thinking about installing glass curtains at some point, our balcony can be windy as its north facing and I thought they look very inoffensive. I would love if there was a "stay" on this rule as you suggest.
Wonder was there any update on the gardens surrounding the development it looks like these will be open to the general public as I dont' see any plans for walls around them, who is going to pay for maintaining them and will it become a security issue I wonder. Just a few thought going through my head, We are heading out there 14th October if anybody is around for a chat.

Hi Langen,
I will be out there in October , would love to meet for a chin wagg.
The plans are that the gardens currently under construction at the top of and running down the side of our development are to be handed over to the council, I now leave it your imagination.
Regards
John

I was dissapointed to see that the gardens were to be taken over by the council. This is a total con,the gardens and fences etc are complete in the other developments and look great.Obviously it won't bother many who do not look onto them, but when fly tipping and dog fouling take place it probably will.
It will also have an effect on anyone who considers selling in the future. Can you tell me what was the outcome regarding the 'hole' where the other apartment block was to be built. That is another eyesore which will continue for many years too, I expect. If you look in the brochures which were given out when purchasing the apartments a railway is stated?.I understand the credit crunch etc but blocks of apartments and surrounding areas should be finished completely until the next phase should start.

I cant believe the gardens are going to be taken over by the council, this is very disappointing, I was of the understanding that they would form part of the complex and shared by both developments. If the other parks in the area are anything to go by then it will be neglected and unsightly in no time. Beginning to feel sorry we invested as its our winter retirement home for the future. How do other owners feel about this I don’t suppose there is anything we can do about it, anybody any ideas, am I over reacting.

I agree that it should be a private garden enjoyed by the residents of La Recoleta and Paque Recoleta, when I get out there next (later this week) I will talk to members of the committee. Perhaps we not the council should take it over.
