Sky Tv

Hi everyone.
Just recently moved to North Costa Blanca.Everything has gone smoothly apart from The Gardia succesfully fining me for speeding in a well executed speed trap.
The only real issue is being found out by Sky after bringing our sky box and new viewing card out here.A message has just come on our screen as well as blocking all the channels we pay for saying we have a problem with our viewing card and phone for assistance on 08442 414141.
I know I will probulary use my English mo phone but does anyone know what questions they may ask so Im primed and ready for them.
Thanks in advance

Sky can tell if you are accessing it from a Spanish landline even if you have a multi-room agreement!

Have you activated the new viewing card? How long has the card been out of the box? Maybe it just needs activating / re-activating? I don't think SKY really care where you are (although I wouldn't go as far as to tell them!)

The Sky card has to be matched to the Sky box by calling Sky in the UK. If you have bought one of the cards that are advertised as 'get Sky for free' they don't work, sorry. The only way to get this done is to register the card/box in the UK but then you will have to pay for the monthly contract.T
There are/were companies in Spain who used to advertise 'legal Sky contracts in Spain' but they weren't! it involved paying a big fee at the beginning and paying a monthly fee to them for the service but Sky seem to have shut them down. We have normal UK tv and it works well, also the Spanish TV with a free view digi box has loads of the British footie, more than you get in the UK!
