We too have received a number of bogus emails from this supposed Richard Quest.  We suggest you ignore them.  They will waste your time and may even be attempting something more sinister.  BIll and Sarah Lakin

Yes, I have had an enquiry too and he even sent a euro cheque for E7200 - the FBI are now looking into this matter. If anyone gets an enquiry from him you should report it at www.ic3.gov the FBI internet complaint website.

I have also taken a booking for nine months from this Richard Quest and I received a €7000 cheque from him yesterday, so if anyone else hears from him please ignore it.

He sent us a 'cheque' for 18,600 euros.  Then he phoned to see if we had received it.  0730 hours GMT is a strange time for him to phone if he really lives in the USA - unless he scams at night.  Maybe it's one of the Nigerian scams, but goodness knows how it works.  In one of his emails to us, he claimed to be Richard and Karen Milo of Tampa Bay Florida.

Yes, he claims to be in Tampa Bay with Karen Milo - who actually when you Google her is an eminent doctor in the area.  I think the scam works by you banking the cheque which shows as a credit in your account.  Whilst it's going through the system, he cancels his booking and asks for a refund telling you to keep x amount for your trouble.

It's a nasty insiduous way to carry on!

I understand from another website that this enquirer is blocked from contacting any of their advertisers!
