polaris world cancelled my contract

 Where do we stand please.  Can any one advise

our apartment on mar menor 2 was late to be completed.  At the time it was due, we had the money to complete.  We asked for our contract to be cancelled then but they would not allow it due to it being the town halls fault for the delay and not their own.

when the contract was finally ready in november, due to pound crashing etc etc, we no longer had the money.

we asked for time to sell another apartment and to try and get a mortgage.

they did not reply

we have since had a letter from their lawyers stating that they have cancelled the contract and are keeping our deposit.

is there no way to get a least some of it back?  as usual no one will talk to us at polaris world.

 There is an action for the refund of 80% of your money back as the penalty clause imposed by Paolaris is abusive according to Contract and Comsumers Law.
