The entertainments manager of a 4* local hotel, part of an international conglomerate, sneered at the 75€ asked of a class professional performer. This was for an evening’s entertainment by a dancer who has enchanted hundreds of ticket buyers in theatres. The offer was: €40 .. take it or leave it.
This is sadly so typical. There won’t be any entertainers on the Costas soon. Meanness is killing the goose that lays the golden egg. Any other performers know of similar stinginess? - Mike
