EasyJet vs Ryan Air
The Comments |
Just reading Cycling Weekly, whilst watching The Tour -- BA are now going charging for bikes if they are over the 23Kg limit and not in a single bag -- thankfully mine isn't even with all the associated items packed in the box. If it is over, they are now charging £28 each way. ESY charge £18.50 for a pre-booked bike and RyanAir £40. If you don't pre-book ESY charge £26, BA £35 and RyanAir £50.
I guess you know if you have a bike so the advice is to pre-book. Or buy yet another bike and leave it in the various houses/villas --but I guess someone I know would have something to say about that!!

Unfortunately we don't have much choice who we fly with. Gatwick to Valencia has only Easyjet! We thought that by checking in online that it would be so much easier at the airport. Boy was I wrong!! We still had to join the extra long queue which was for every single Easyjet passenger and every destination.
Thankfully on Sept 4th we only need to get a one-way ticket as we don't intend coming back again. Anyone near Casinos or Lliria want to chat? We'll be moving to our new home in Villar in 45 days time! COME ON THEN!!!
