Ash cloud compensation

Has anyone received any compensation from the airlines yet for the close down of the airports back in April or are the airlines just using every delay tactic in the book not to compensate people that got stuck abroad.
I have a claim in that we are told is now just waiting for the top person to make a decision....for the past 3 weeks.
Anyone else had better luck in getting their compensation back?

doesnt look like anyone has received anything then....
.........6 months on and the airlines are not paying out.
Anyone any ideas on how to speed things up?

Hi, We were delayed and put in a claim with Easyjet who I must say were really good. They paid out after about six weeks which I was really surprised at.
