Making a Formal Objection About a General Meeting
The Comments |
What is the process for making a formal objection about a general meeting?
Let's say no call was sent out! Only a couple of selected individuals attended and decisions were made - one of the attendees was elected as President!
Finally what are the costs involved in persuing this sort of matter??

Some of the Spanish owners on our community went to court about the decisions made at an EGM because not enough notice had been given when calling the meeting. It took a couple of years to go through the courts, the president lost but appealed and then won on appeal (a complete travesty). In the intervening period the decisions taken stood which only went through because so few people managed to get to the meeting and the president had zillions of proxy votes.. Sorry, have no idea how much it cost.
Good Luck.
