will there be an embargo on my car

Hi, I have a spanish registered car which has been out of service for about three years. There is just over three years road tax owing on it. Some one has mentioned that an embargo may have been placed on the car. I have moved so any communication from the town hall would not have reached me.Any views would be very welcome. Jack.

They would proceed to materialise the embargo on your Bank account. Have not them?
