Does anyone know any place on the main drag in Cartagena to eat?
I'm looking for menu del dia for about 50.
I've googled but not come up with anything reasonable, perhaps you've been or a friend has and can recommennd somewhere?

Hi,
Not been for a few years, but La Tasca Del Tio Andres Restaurant at 46 Paseo Alfonso 13 does excellent paella. In fact, all the seafood is really good.
It specialises in regional dishes. A good range of meat, fish and rice dishes from different parts of Murcia prepared on an open fire.
A lot of local customers, which is always a good sign.

The restaurants on the port are nice to have a coffee in but the food is not that great. If you cross the road there are a couple of restaurants just past the Postman figure at the top of the old town that do really nice food.

Thank you for your replies.
I have looked at la Tasca but I think it may be a bit more expensive than we want. Also it is closed on a Tuesday and guess which day we are going??!
I have been to Cartagena several times but I cannot remember the names of the places on the main drag and obviously need to arrange this meal as just dropping in with 50 people is not the best idea!!
