Hi

Looks to me that Ryanair have pulled all winter flights between Stansted and Murcia.  Does anyone know if thats correct or not?

Last year they flew near enough every other day!

Probably depends on how much money Ryanair can extort from Murcia Airport and the local Tourist authority... last time, I believe the subsidy was around 11 million Euros...

They didn’t get the subsidy last year that’s why they pulled most of the flights
All the subsidies from the local Tourist authority was given to other airlines
Ryanair got nothing .

Thanks for your replies.

Last year they kept the Stansted route open for 3/4 days a week whilst pulling some other routes completely and having looked on their webiste before I posted the question, the flights to Alicante are already out, so I presumed the Murcia ones would be too.

Ryanair kept Dublin + Stansted routes during the winter and cancelled all the rest I would expect the same for this year.

Ryanair winter schedule for Leeds/Bradford now available - in Spain; Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote but no Murcia I'm afraid.
