I was gutted that I mised the GP yesterday, but when on holiday, you can't allow the goggle box to dominate can you . I was looking yesterday for a proxy server (as you do) and came across this site. The proxy is free for the first month and then the owner just asks for a "beer money" contribution to keep it going. Just watching the highlights now, so it's a good 'un!!
Works best on Explorer unfortunately, but can be made to work in Firefox apparently.

Hmm, it's a clever marketing ploy if you ask me. Maybe me just being cynical? Roberto will back me up on this one
He is charging between "3 - 10 Euros" per month which is the going rate. He isn't doing anyone a favour. I have tried out a few proxies to compare if they are any better than my OnSpeed solution and they have always given me a free trial period.
The fact that he is forcing customers to pay means he is running a business and not just collecting beer money!
Seems a bit cheeky to me really.

Don't know, the only other one I had been part successful with was hidemyip, but that slows the connection down too much on the trial period. This one, once connected, I was able to turn the proxy off and gain from not channeling through a LAN.
I didn't see anywhere that I was being forced to pay, merely if I found it useful to consider a contribution. I'm not out here often enough to make it a viable option for me, but I was glad to be able to catch up cool inside, while it was (and stil is) far too hot outside .

Don't know why Justin thinks I'm cynical (did I interpret you right?!) but on the subject of the GP Mark, you didn't miss a thing. I turned off just before the chequered flag, so missed the drivers' press conference, but I imagine Vettel would have said something like "I left the grid in pole position, drove around the circuit 57 times, then picked up a trophy". What else was there to talk about? He probably wasn't even aware anyone else was there.
BORING

I use vpngates.com - you do pay (US$120 per year) but it is excellent. The customer service is also excellent. If you are okay with paying for the service, then I can recommend them. I personally don't know of any reliable service that is free to recommend, although I am sure that there are some out there. And, Roberto, you are right - the race was the most boring of the season to date! Roll on Sllvertone!!

Have a look at the following thread: "accessing BBC iplayer from Spain" and others on this subject. I have a good service from Expatshield"

I had a bad experience with expatshield and the ads drove me mad so I would rather pay for a service.
Don't get me started on the race....I actually fell asleep. Then I woke up an hour later and nothing had changed. Then I started thinking that Vettel hasn't yet had the opportunity to use his new fancy DRS button in the races and one day when he's coming up to overtake someone (we can dream) I'm not sure he'll know how to use it
I think Silverstone is going to be much more interesting. Hopefully the English weather will remain faithful and it will rain.

Why does Jake Humphreys carry that iPad around? And is it an iPad, or a Lenovo or what? Why is Eddie Jordan still on the show? Why WHY, why are they allowed to work on the cars and change the tyres under red flag conditions? These are far more interesting things to ponder than the race itself lately. Best bit last Sunday was hearing Button explain why he's good in the wet: 'cos when he was karting, his old man was too tight to pay for wet tyres and he had to use slicks even in the rain! Roll on Silverstone, let's hope it pi55es down!

I've been using a UK company called GeckoProxy.com for a few months.
They charge £5 a month or £24 for 6 months. What I really like about this service is that any problem or query I've had was dealt with promptly!
I was having a problem using the Proxy Server with IE and Outlook Express that I couldn't resove but Jason from Gecko arranged a free dial up and corrected the issue in a few minutes.
I 've tried free services such as Foxy Proxy but struggled to deal with the settings when things went wrong?
For accessing iplayer and Sky Player alone, I find it's well worth using a paid for service providor.
