Just finished Race for Life 5k run in Wakefield West Yorkshire & I'm feeling quite proud of myself so just had to tell you all!
I'm not the fittest person & to be fair walked more than I ran but I've done it yay

Well done Camille ..... Hope you were able to raise lots of money for your chosen charity
Time for a cuppa now, I would imagine!! Or better still, a bottle of rosada with your dinner

well done you!. It's positive all round, raising money for such a good cause and doing your health a favour (though it may not feel like that at the time?). If you stick with the running you will probably be amazed at how you can adjust and become fitter, stronger and healthier all round in mind and body. My wife had no interest in running until I said what a good way it was to firm up certain areas of her body!. She then started very gently, slowly building up to a mile without stopping, then joined the club I run with.........3 years later and she has applied for her 2nd London marathon in 2012!

Thanks guys. Yes really enjoyed it even the training so not giving up I'm out for a jog tonight
