I receive a constant stream of enquiries from budding authors who wish to see, and profit from, their published novel or biography. I am a ghost-writer, not a publisher and so the stumbling block for most is actual publication of their story when I have played my part.
It is a fast moving world. Conventional publishing is a dead duck for most but as the saying goes; when one door closes another opens. In fact it has never been easier to self-publish via Amazon and similar. Online books already outsell conventionally published books; bookshops now only account for 1% of book sales.
In the perfect world I would be able to recommend my author clients to someone who, on receipt of my completed copy, can take it on to online publication; for a fee of course. Just set it up so the world can buy and read online. Any suggestions from the computer literate would be welcome? Thanks! – Mike
