I wasn't sure what thread to put this under, as I am mainly looking for recommendations for eating out in Granada.

Also, apart from the obvious, are there any recommendations for places to visit in Granada city, especially if the weather is as bad as it promises to be?!  I was thinking of the Lorca family's summer house, if we can find it, as I understand that there is a museum there.

Any other comments would be appreciated: we have already booked our hotel, which we selected on the basis that the driving directions are straightforward and we have heard horror stories about parking there.

Hope to be inundated with advice and recommendations!

Sue

Bring a raincoat and a decent brolly...

Parking can be a bit of a nightmare as you so rightly say. However we normally park in one of the main carparks just off the A44 Granada Bypass at the exit for Recogidas which is just a shortish walk to the centre of town.

http://granadainfo.com/english.htm has lots of information. Also

http://granadaforo.com/ is a link from the aforementioned site.

Have a good trip.

 Thanks, foxbat.

Funnily enough our hotel is on Recogidas, and they have private parking but charge for it.  Maybe we can park for free in one of the main carparks?  I did have a thick coat or jacket and my brolly on my list of things to park......!

I will check out the links you gave me in the morning.

Sue
