Some good news.
The facility to call in the details of crimes on the telephone (902 102 112) which has been suspended for a couple of months is back in operation again. Although, only available from 9am until 9 pm each day.
The languages available are English, Italian, French German and Spanish.
Note that when you make the call you must specify at which National Police Station you wish to make the report, which MUST be within 48 hours. You will be given a reference number to produce when you go to the the station to sign.
It is ONLY WHEN YOU HAVE SIGNED that the report exists (dated at the time and on the day you signed it, not when you called on the phone). If you do not sign at a National Police Station the information is archived; no report exists.
If you are unable to go to the National Police Station which you nominated, you can go to any other but you must tell them which station you had nominated. That way they can retrieve it.
