You will need to have the following documents translated:
Birth Certificates
Passports
Divorce papers (if relevant)
Certificate of no impediment
Sworn letter of residence (if you haven´t lived in Spain for three years)
Each document will cost you aroud €100 per page with the exception of the sworn letter of residence which will cost you around €250 each (they require individual papers). Incidentally no evidence is required; all you have to do is swear in front of the consul that you have lived in xxxx place for xxxx time. They then produce a letter for each of you.
Our wedding itself cost us nothing - no fee for the Ayuntamiento, judge or facilities. We even got a special peal of bells from the church next door!
