Paramount don't own any theme or leisure parks - they pulled out years ago. They have a model that is copied and a form of license to use their brand name. The parks are all financed, built and operated by independent entities hence the lack of action in Spain.

The one being built in the UK is being built  "Supposedly" in Kent, on a well known flood plain.

One of the attractions is "Supposedly" going to be the Titanic Sinking.

The proposed UK site is supposed to be just off and to the east of the M25 before the Dartford crossing.  The site is not far from the Bluewater shopping complex and flooding should not be an issue.  It's been kicked around for a year or two now and I'm surprised it's being seen as an alternative or "either or" for the one proposed in Murcia.  There is a decidedly different catchment area and if Dartford happens this is surely more likely to affect Paris.

Discovery: An environmental audit of the 872-acre brownfield site in the Swanscombe Peninsula in Kent has found it is home to distinguished jumping spiders

Well perhaps they have changed minds then, it's going to be on the Swanscombe Peninsula, the picture shows how close to the Thames and looks partly flooded already, it's been said they are going to raise the ground higher...Whys that I wonder?.

Nice pic, but you have to bear in mind that a large part of central London has been built on what was the river Thames a few hundred years ago, so it really shouldn't be an insurmountable problem.  It's probably just media meddling, trying to create a story.

Yes, for sure they must know what they are doing, with cost's in the region of 2 Billion they have to, also has  been said IF they get permission.

All that investment, all that work created, all those jobs, all that revenue created...Who can be thinking of a NO!

Already had one hold up though, the rare jumping spider, jumping spiders wont be nothing compared to our jobs worth councils.
