Go to Cracamposol and see latest news. At the moment we are waiting for the temporary crossing over the rambla to be fnished before the bridge is repaired. All work has halted due to the terrible weather-the area is like a bog! Considering how long the main bridge will take to repair it's anyone's whether it will be done by Christmas!
Further news-a road on A has collapsed!

The alternative route is muddy, full of potholes made worse by days of rain, and not to be advised unless absolutely necessary. The train is still running, on A and B only. There is a meeting with the council today, so we may know more then.

Hi there,no work been done on the rambla route for the last few days,Monday is a Fiesta day,but the mayor has told the C.R.A. it will be open for use this Tuesday, sorry no way is that going to happen,as more rain is forecast.
the D-SECTOR community group are looking to use some of our funds to fill the pot-holes with gravel to help sort the problem,we are just short of volunteres to do the work.
the track is dreadful, and I would advise any one who has to use it in the dark take extra care as some of the pot holes are really dangerous.
Maureen.

Saturday and still no work been done on the route over the rambala, although it has been dry for the last 3 days. The bridge is in an even worse state than before due to the burst water pipe.
D-sector group are hoping to fill some of the pot holes next week, but the worst part is on the farmers land which is obviously private property. We are hoping to get permission to fill some of them in.but from a permanent resident point of view at the moment it is a night mare and is very restricting in our social life.
We do not want to use the exit off D7 at night because it is dangerous, life not to good at the moment, and certainly the council are not making any effort to improve it.

looks as if the rambla road will be ready any day now-look out for boy racers. The other long and winding road has had potholes filled in by volunteers. As long as the rain keeps off things should be ok.
