Came across this very interesting and informative site whilst looking for properties to rent in Spain.
There seems to be a vast collective knowledge which I would like to tap into - thought it quicker than searching the internet and would receive better info from folks that have already relocated to Spain rather thanfrom fee based 'professionals' who might not provide me with the full picture.
I'm a non-EU citizen who has worked in Valbonne Southern France for the past 30-years. I'm currently on a 10-year work permit which runs out early next year and would also be invalid as I'm taking early retirement at the end of 2012.
Since property is so much cheaper to rent in Spain than here we have decided to spend some time in spain before going back home to the US.
The infomation I'm seeking is what visa/permits do I need to rent a proerty in Spain and is it easy to bring my French registered cars and motorcycles to Spain.
