awesome and warm in the summer

dosent go below 0 in winter unless you live in one of those pointless places like granada.

more relaxed lifestyle

the government leave you alone

its not the uk

not too many germans nowadays

you can get superb english breakfasts as well as lots of english food like chinese, currys and kebabs.

if you live in one the good parts in andalucia you can go to gib and shop in morrisons and buy smokes and fuel tax free.

everyone smokes

you can get all kinds of porn in the chinese shops.

the spanish are mega corrupt so if you have a bit of coin you can do what you want.

the oranges are so cheap the farmers are actually giving us them (so i look and smell like an orange now)

you can drive your cabriolet for about 325 days a year as opposed to 5 in the uk

you can sit outside bars for most of the year and have a lovely coffee.

people are really friendly in some area.

you can get loads of english tv channels.

spanish men are short and hairy so the spanihs women love a bit of english man inside them.
the spanish women also fall for english cheesy chat up lines that an english woman would turn their nose up at.

Fantastic people but you will need the language

Great fresh seasonal food, miles better than the UK.

Great weather if you like the heat

Still relatively cheap to eat out and enjoy yourself

Huge variety of culture, traditions and scenery

Property prices are dropping and rents are the lowest they have been in years, great value for money.

Andalucia - heaven on earth!

Sun and snow in the Sierra Nevada, then sunbathing on the beach in the afternoon. Mountain walks.

Formula One testing at Jerez this week.

Michelin standard restaurants at under €20. Delicious menu del dia at great bars for €8. Good fresh local food.

Friendly people. Lovely language - easier to learn than many!

Fantastically low house prices, whether to buy or rent.

Oh and the weather is quite nice, too!

Embrace the pace of life, it's one of the biggest benefits.

You can practise your Spanish amongst the locals or speak English in places where you'll find them

You can buy all shapes and sizes of very fresh fruit and veg.  They aren't packaged in sizes that fit a particular criteria

The eggs are fresh with golden yolks and they taste wonderful...and they're cheaper than the eggs in the UK

The pork is scrumptious...and cheaper than in the UK

The fish is FRESH (no sunken eyes) even in the supermarkets and it's cheaper than in the UK

The weather allows much more time spent outdoors, therefore more opportunity to get to know people

You don't need to travel far to see some incredibly beautiful scenery

We love the tiled floors!  They are so much easier to keep clean and they're long-lasting, cool in the summer and you can add a rug or two in the winter if you want to

We love the fully-tiled bathrooms

You can get some lovely, cheap, stretchy knickers in the Chinese shops that actually fit (same goes for boxers)

If you like short, hairy men you're in luck

If short, hairy men aren't your choice...wow! have you seen the slim, gorgeous-looking, olive-skinned variety with the most incredible backsides?

oh yeah

as tamaraessex said

there is a glut or rently property so what were once 10`000 euros a month can be had in some cases for 1800 a month.

and these are really nice dream rental places.

if you have an independent income out of spain thats reasonable you can reallylive in some awesome houses that one could never even consider living in uk.

its mega sunny today

bit cold i the house buy the sea is calm and the dog is sat on the balcony getting a suntan.

i am just working in my underwear with the patio doors open. if you wanted to know that

and its february

That's another plus point, Mungry....Spain's climate is better suited to pets as-well-as their owners.  We met a lady and her dog in Spain the last time we were there and she told us her lovely old labrador had taken on a new lease of life since her move there and he wasn't nearly so bothered  with the arthritis that had caused him so much pain in the UK.

PS  Are you wearing boxer shorts from the Chinese shop, Mungry? No, don't answer that.  I'm just being cheeky again!
