Best place to buy a used car

 I have a house about 20 minutes away from the San Javier airport and normally hire cars when I go to Spain.  The prices are going up dramatically  and this is causing me to consider buying a car to use in Spain.  Any advice and sources of good quality used cars would be gratefully received.  I am happy to travel for a good car.

have a look at the Kalyd Autos website, they are in San Javier near Iceland, also there is Specialist Vehicles Group the website is not as up to date as Kalyd's but they are  in San Javier.

I bought a car there last year, the owner is Andrew Wild, who is English. He and his wife manage the garage and they both speak fluent Spanish and do all the paperwork for you.

Also, if you buy a car from them they provide a storage facility and meet and greet service to and from the airport at very competitive rates.

 We bought a car from Kalyd Autos in San Javier and have had no problems.

A Los Montesinos (Torrevieja) garage I use often sells cars on behalf of those returning to the UK. Saw a picture and description of one car - it was perfect, low mileage for just €700. The do all the paperwork too for a little over €100. I found myself wishing that I needed it. Such a bargain.
