Hi Patrick. I was ecstatic when you told me you were both getting married. It was very exciting to think that EOS had played a part in you both getting together although destiny may have brought you together anyway at some stage as you are so right for eachother.
It was evident from the banter between the two of you in the early days of the forum that something was "happening". I remember very well that first evening when the four of us met up. I remember feeling disappointed that only four of us had come along but we had a great time and something wonderful came out of it. And yes...it was obvious at the time ;)
Both Inez and yourself were really instrumental in the success of the forum in the early days. Apart from offering really great advice to anyone on any topic, you both made the forum a lot of fun and exciting and helped it to grow and flourish. You were both a big asset to the site and I will always be greatful for your contributions.
It's always great to know that all of those countless hours programming until the early hours of the morning has helped and united people in one way or another.
I know how happy you are both together and I am over the moon for you. You are a great couple and lovely people.
So, congratulations to you both and let's meet up for that coffee soon!!

Many congratulations to you both! What a wonderful story!! Beautiful photographs too. I remember both of you so well in the days when I posted on here. Inez was such a lovely lady, no malice and full of helpful advice. The same can be said of you, Smiley. I also remember when inez had health problems and am delighted to hear that she weathered the storm. She looks the picture of health and a radiant bride. Have a long and happy life together. Congratulations Inez & Patrick The last time we came over to Spain we spoke of Inez and wondered if she was now in good health - and looking at the photos can see she most definitely is! Inez was one of the first people we met when we started house hunting in Spain, she introduced us to a fantastic lawyer and helped us no end. We're very happy for you both.
