We own a plot of land in the Lake Venuela area and would like to know how we can find out if there are any plans in the offing to urbanize this land by the local council.  If so who do we contact and how do we go about getting the information as neither of us speaks spanish?

Is there anyone who can help on this matter?

Speak to the Planning Office in your municipality.  Using a friend or a paid interpreter if they do not speak English in the office.

Thank you - but we dont have any friends who speak spanish and where do we get a paid interpreter from.  Really need someone who understands the spanish building and planning laws in that particular area.

Thank you for your advice. Do you mean English paper in Spain as I don't live there. If so how can I get one?

Yes,  I mean a local English Paper in Spain, something like The Costa Blanca News, Coast Rider etc,  Costa Del Sol News etc, and I bet many others for your area.

Go on the internet, log into...Lets say the 'Costa Blanca / Costa Del Sol News', look it up, these newspapers are on line now.
