Filing Deadline for Form 210 for Declaring Rental Income
The Comments |
I am a UK tax resident and bought a property in Barcelona in March 2014 that is currently being let on short term lets, the first let being in late May after getting the tourist licence. I know that I need to submit a Form 210. I had read on various website that submission was quarterly, but reading the Agencia Tributaria guidance on filling out Form 210 in both english and spanish says that a return for "income from real estate located in Spain" needs to filed annually. Can anyone confirm whether this is or is not correct based on their experience. Many thanks ( I'm sure this will be my first of many basic Spanish tax questions!)

Hi,
For imputed or notional income tax, one only has to file one declaration per year. For physical rental income one has to present a declaration at the end of each quarter, ie. april, july, september, jan. Good Luck
