The ruling PP political party are mired in so many differing corruption allegations it is difficult to keep track of it all. The extent and bare faced arrogance of some of the behaviour of these people is truly shocking. The Barcenas enquiry rumbles on and gets every closer to those currently in power in Spain.
Meanwhile Rajoy continues to claim Spain is not a corrupt society 'just a few bad apples'. Anyone who has lived in Spain and been in business knows that to be complete cobblers. Corruption has many forms from accepting undeclared cash payments to under the desk backhanders for favours. Corruption has become less overt in recent years but nobody believes it's gone away. Except the prime minister.
There is an old Spanish story that if you want to know where the local Mayor lives just look for the biggest, grandest house in the village.
