Benidorm Palace - Alternative??

Hi,  Im new to this site and would like to know if anyone can offer an alternative night out to Benidorm Palace.

We are coming down to Dolores area for 3 months early Jan and would like a good night out, similar to BP for a special occasion, with an overnight hotel stay.........any suggestions?  Happy to drive for an hour or so to get to destination.

Not sure if there's anything like Benidorm Palace in the area. There are some dinner cruises in Alicante and Cartagena which get good reviews but we haven't tried them.  Most of the places we have been to seem to have flamenco or folk singers but not the spectacular like the BP.

One place I would recommend is Valencia. There are lots there and you can easily Google dinner shows Valencia to choose one you like. One of the coach companies from Torrevieja and Quesada do a 3 day (2 night) city centre hotel for 102 euro which is excellent value. You'd have to book the show separately, though. About a 2 to 3 hour trip by coach depending on how many pick up points so longer than you wanted. Bonus is that you don't have to pay for car parking which was 19 euro a day where we stayed so much cheaper to get a bus or taxi or even metro if it's near where you're going.
