Hi, New Here, Looking to Move to Alicante in 5 weeks

Buenos días todos

Thought id say hi here few weeks ahead of taking the plundge & heading out to Spain.. maybe i can learn of some good advice / any do's or dont's before hand.. or some friendly places to go .. any bad experiences with letting companys that i may be better to avoid maybe..

So im looking at the Alicante area for the Sunshine, Im from Uk & will be traveling back here 8 / 10 times a year to work.. i guess will have to fly if cant find cheeper ferrys than what ive found so far..

Im looking for a long term rental of an apartment, with a private balcony that gets the sun & has a nice view, ideally: clean & modern, furnished or part furnished, comunal pool, by the beach, garage or parking, internet conection inc .. i would consider a house / villa or a different area.. if i really like the place

I will fly over in april to view property & drive down to move in at the start of May,

Im interested in the following if anybody can reccomend any of the following that would be great!

A good gym

Windsurfing or kite surfing lessons

Healthy places to eat breakfast & lunch..

1 - 1 Spanish lessons

Strip clubs in Alicante

Strip clubs / "whisky houses" in the area or on the drive down ..

Nude sunbathing beaches

Scenic places to visit driving / walking / biking

Any advice on phone contracts & fast internet conection for the apartment

Also any advice on cheep ferrys, ferry deals Uk - Spain ( looks expensive may need to go through calais

Your describing the Mar Menor,,near San Javier Airport,,Loads of the thinbgs you list are available, the Mar Menor is probably the best place for wind surfing in Spain, plenty of naturist beaches and textile beaches,, good clubs available.. One of the healthiest climates in Europe... check it out
