Thomas Cook Bonus for CEO
The Comments |
I have just seen on the news that the former CEO of Thomas Cook who oversaw the disgusting treatment of the British family who were gassed in Greece and their two children died and also the parents were taken to hospital has been given a bonus of £5.7million!!! She has graceously given one third to charity! This woman was in charge when they offered the grieving parents 'compensation' of about £350,000 and then her company received £3million. Admittedly Thomas Cook gave about £1million to Save The Children charity. I wonder how the grieving parents felt about that?
So now she has received £5.7 million and it is reported that she will give one third approx. £1.88 million to charity leaving her just over £3.4 million pounds. The question I ask is WHY?
The way everybody can show their discust is to not use Thomas Cook and let the company 'go to the wall' as obviously they have no consideration for their customers.

Yes, and not use any company that pays ridiculously high bonuses to it's executives, sadly we would end up with no bank, no private pension office, no utility supplier etc, etc. There is a woman called Emma Harrison of Thornbridge Hall, who lives close to me, I have met her, I won't say anymore other than look her up.
