POA set up in the UK

I will be completing on a property some time soon and i am thing of setting POA from the UK i have a solicitor set up ready in Spain, i want to know has anybody set this up from the UK was easy to do and what sort of cost did you have.

We did it. Meant a trip to a local notary who did the necessary stuff and sent the forms special delivery to our notary in Spain. Saved loads of trips back to Spain and legwork so worth the cost and completed on the cave house in a month

I have set up power of attorney in the UK, and transferred it between lawyers in Spain as well.

I won't provide information at this time, even though I have experience, simply because I'm likely to be talking about something completely at odds with the posters request, because of intervention from others that believe to know best all the time.
