Renting for the first time locally to la cala and surrounding

been a home owner in the U.K. All my adult life but due to a new life in Spain planned we are going the rental route any idea what letting agents require to rent ... being in the letting business in the U.K. Just wondering if the same rules apply... secondly if anybody knows of a reasonabley priced 3 bed home coming available for what I consider a decent family, la cala, calahonda surrounding even go as far as alhaurin el grande.
