Does owning a B and B class as being employed and eligible for healthcare

My wife and I are planning to emigrate to Spain and buy a bed and breakfast and would like to know if this is classed as being employed and eligible for state health care. Also how much is normally contributed. Thanks in advance for your information

You would become self employed (autonomo) and pay social security. Around €250 a month and you will get healthcare but you have to pay that amount regardless of how much you earn. If you make no money in one month, you still have to make your payments. See a financial advisor on how to do this and he/she should arrange for you to pay the payments.
