We would like to say an enormous thank you to Maria and all her team at Costa luz Lawyers on the successful outcome to our case.

Since asking Maria to take on our case some years ago we were confident that she and her team would do their utmost to help us.

We had researched and read how the company had helped others in their fight to recover their deposits on off plan developments.

We were very unfortunate to have bought at a time when there was a lot of unscrupulous developers around and we fell foul to that.

In reply to georgie1. It took about a year to receive our money but it was still before the Appeal was heard.

How much did it cost you in legal fees and court costs to get your own money and interest back.

Any costs not recovered/ imposed by the Judge against the bank in this action can be claimed against initial conveyancing law firm 

I am so pleased to hear this.

We have waited almost 16 months for a judgement from the Fuengirola courts after our case against the bank  in April 2016 and still nothing.

It is now twelve and a half years since we paid our deposit on a property in Mijas and nine years since we first contacted María at CostaLuz. 

Hopefully our very long wait for justice will not be for much longer. 

Fortunately we are keeping in good health and might even live to see the return of our money. 😉😉😉😉
