Warning: Lawyers are never appointed by Courts

We have received today an email from a client with a forwaded email by a LawFirm who affirms that the " Spanish Mercantile Court" has appointed them to contact and act for clients who lost off plan property deposits in Spain.
Wanted to warn you on the clear misleading character of the affirmation as no Court ever is in charge of appointing lawyers for any matter in Spain.
It makes me wonder on the type of professionals behind
