Winter in Torrevieja
The Comments |
Hola Amigos - I have just purchased a small apartment in Torrevieja and intend to spend time there during the low season. I'd very much like to make contact with anyone of similar interests to me who might like to meet up from time to time for a coffee/glass of wine and some stimulating conversation! I am a retired lecturer in history but I am interested in most things including languages (French, Spanish and Russian), literature, politics, theatre, music (singing and recorder playing), TV, health, theology, etc. A few contacts would make it easier to settle in and feel at home quickly and, of course, it would be splendid to be able to benefit from the experience of others who have a good working knowledge of how a Spanish town operates. Thank you for reading this.
Graham

I have sent Graham a private reply.
But anyone in a similar situation in Torre' could try the 'Torrvieja U3A' website (if they are a senior) which has many interest groups to choose from.
Or, if they play Bridge, the Sunshine bar on the R on the 332 just before Playa Flamenca 1000am Wednesday.
