Is airbnb permitted?

Do I have to get permission from the President of our Community to rent my apartment on airbnb?

That would deoend on the contract you have with them. Does it preclude renting your property out?  If it does not then I assume you can. But many placrs dislike holiday renting bevause it alters the feel of a community.

Community of owerns cannot limit your ownership rights which include of course the right to rent property out. Even an agreement made in that sense by the General Meeting of community of owners or included in the estatutes is illegal unless it is justified by the need to protect the welfare of the living together. Community of owners would have to prove that these rentals actually affect the welbeing of the community, which is difficult.
