Hi Sandra,
I wasn't told the court date of the Banks Appeal, but on 29th of July was told the hearing took place on the 10th July and that it had been dismissed.
The court deadline for the bank to decide whether to head for the Supreme Court or that they will pay me out was 4th September according to Keith Rule.
The last communication from Costaluz was on the 22nd of October where I was told that they would contact me again the next day - but didn't.
Today marks 42 working days from the deadline and I have had no further communication. Communicating with clients is very important.....although the first time I realised that my claim had been put into a joint claim was when the 1st instance Judgment was issued...I wasn't informed beforehand.
I have given up chasing them now as I asked for sight of my account since it had been over a decade and I was then 'requested' to send the outstanding balance- when your widowed your financial position changes & you have a lot less to live on.
Although underneath the scale of charges form it clearly states that clients have nothing to pay apart from the dispursements whilst the claim is ongoing, and when the claim has come to an end it is then that costs need paying.
I gave up prior to the Bank Appeal...I really have had enough of being viewed as a meal ticket, especially when the accounts have to be checked.
