Just seen the "Sat in a suitcase" £64.99? for sale in there.
It had been opened so I had a look, not that I'd now what to look for. Dish didn't look that big.
Do they sell the same sort of thing in Spain?

Hi semijubilada we got a freeview box from gemstat cost us 160 euros and they put a community dish up it also cost us 195 euros to put a link from the dish into are apt.Some people bought there own freeview box for 89 euros in spain bye irene

Hi Irene, We've only got a small house so will never be able to get free sat, no room for a dish  Would solve a lot of our problems with TV.
Was only mentioning the "suitcase" because someone had mentioned it many months ago. I've no intention of buying one as it's been explained that it wouldn't suit our purposes.
It's either Freesat or Spanish Digital and as we can't put up a big enough dish to receive the former we will go down the latter route.

Just a note: TV in America is absolutely horrible. I'm not talking about the programing (love CSI NCSI etc) but the friggen commercials. EVERY TWO MINUTES ANOTHER COMMERCIAL BREAK, uggg nough to make you give up TV for good. While I don't always like the programing in Europe (lived in Germany before this) they generally run a good ways through the program before going to a lengthy commercials break.
Can hardly wait to get home to my Spanish TV, bet you never thought someone would say that eh!
BTW we have a TDT box in the bedroom and Telefoncia in the living room

Decided after all I don't like Spanish TV, that is having compared both.
