The Comments |
Hi anyone, we are considering buying at Daya Nueva in Luna Mar Apartment developement, Has anyone got any comments about the build quality regarding sound insulation between party walls, floors & ceilings? also is there to be any further development of site after the current phase is completed? or things that could potentially spoil any views that we may buy into?

Hi Bobandgretta
I am in Daya Nueva, but not on the Lunamar development. I have seen the lunamar development come up from nothing to what it is now. There is no knowing if there will indeed be more development but the general thought is that there will be no more development to start in the near future, as the mayor has supposedly stopped any. Ongoing building will continue to finish and the other end of the villeage has only just started a large development of about 200 houses. You could besafe for a few more years on the Avenue Almoradi where the Lunamars are built.
You could contact Howard through the Lunamar site as you have already been informed by moreasado. Howard lives on one of the first phases so will be able to tell you more. My opinion is that you wont go far wrong.

Thanks Steve, all useful to know, we are visiting this weekend for a second viewing, (first for me) so it good to have some impartial views about the development. As well as being reassuring should we decide to proceed.
Regards, Bob

Bob, did you receive my answer to your PM a few days ago ? Did you manage to get into the development forum. I thought you might have got back to me as I joined the dev forum just to get you the direct link & now I'm stuck with it in my development forums. Please let me know. Thanks.

Yes thanks I thought I'd already replied to you, yes it was a good move, found out a bit more and also that there seems to be a lot of concern in getting the COFH documents through. That has given us something else to think about as we hoped for early completion if we do proceed. Sorry if we caused you bother in your development forums, afraid I don't fully understand yet how it all works. But thanks again, we will be over tomorrow (Sat) for a viewing with a bit more knowledge of it all.
Regards, Bob

Hi Bobandgretta
Just a thought, I am not quite sure, but I believe that one of the apartments(lunamar) is already up for sale as a resale. If you are wanting a qick completion, that could be the way to go, usually about 8 weeks.
