Welcome to this fantastic forum. You could spend days on here gleaning information about loads of different places and still be confused though! I'm really relieved to hear you are learning Spanish. It amazes me the amount of people who plan to relocate and can only order a beer and a glass of wine.
As to where you relocate to, it depends upon so very many things and you need to make a list of your criteria. For example, do you want somewhere near the coast or inland? Do you like to be surrounded by bustle and noise and people, or prefer to be in a very quiet location? Do you want to live with other ex-pats or Spanish, or both?
Oh I could go on all day....
We spent a long time looking around Spain and although we love our place now - Formentera del Segura - we had to make compromises. Ideally, I would have loved to live in Barcelona, but we couldn't afford it.
We went on holidays in all different parts of Spain with our wish list and that's how we came to our decision and certainly don't regret it.
