Went into town today and enjoyed a lazy stroll along the prom................
Stopped off in the Ice Cream Shop, Ramon Sirvent, near the "Tat" shop as our KarenSun calls it.
Next thing, a "blacked out van" arrived, followed by the local Police.
They drove onto the concrete beach espanade.
A stretcher was taken onto the beach (to our left and out of view)
The stretcher came back with a body totally wrapped in white, obviously dead.
It was put into the van and driven off.
We don't know if the body came from the beach or the sea.
What I do know is that the whole beach fell silent...............
Today. someone lost their life.
I was concerned for thier family, were they on the beach? Who was looking after them? Was the deceaed on their own? How would thier family find out what happened?
So many questions.................no answers..............
In fear of being intrusive, we walked back to the car............
Then we drove home and got on with our lives..................................
How selfish is that?
