IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING PROBLEMS.
I have just tried to access my bank account on line to check
my balance and it will not let me into my account.It is saying
there is an error. Anyone else had this problem today???

Gypsy, sometimes Banks do maintenance work at weekends, I know Barclays and Nationwide do but they normally let you know this is going to happen. Pat

I have just tried to get onto the halifax website, got the following message

Has anyone managed to get onto the website either yesterday or today?

Hi,
I have just tried to access the banco halifax online and still got an
error message so I have just rang the Torrevieja branch and they have
told me that they have been having problems for a few days now
with this facility. The girl I spoke to said to just keep checking as it
could come back on in a few hours OR a few days!!!. She said if I
wanted to check anything I could phone the online helpline
on (0034) 902 310 100. HOPE THIS INFO IS OF HELP

It's really not good enough not being able to access our Banco Halifax online banking facility is it ? We, in the UK, rely on it to manage our account to a point.
Gypsy, you are such an asset to us, you being there (Spain) & us being here (UK).
Note : You can also email the online banking service on ebanking@halifax.es (More has ! )

Have just accessed my Banco Halifax account online.
All fully working again, AND my transfer from england
last week has gone into my account today.

Dear Gypsy and other Halifax Account holders
I have been with Banesto bank in Marbella for a no. of years and they are absolutely and utterly appalling so I was planning to move to Banco Halifax for some basic Customer Service. Would you recommend the Halifax?

Im with halifax banco in Marbella, the day i went i walked in and was seen within minutes, went through everything about my mortgage, why the
rises happen, where i am now etc etc
They even advised i was getting no interest on my account and moved my money there and then into a saving s account, my bank card and
pin arrived in Edinburgh about a week later..
Online banking with them is easy too...

Hi,
I would definetly recommend Halifax to anyone, all the staff
speak english (torrevieja branch) international transfers for
free, debit card charge is 3 euros a year, no charges if you
keep 600 euros in your bank.They are always helpfull ,
