Have just come across this website - www.losalcazares2007atodavela.com - details the sailing championships which will be held in the area this year. All sounds fantastic.

Thinking about theme parks - isn't the Terra Natura one near Murcia supposed to open this Easter ? - Anyone know?

Yes I've been looked at terra mitica before, we are theme park freaks, done Disney Florida a few times and stayed in alton towers splash landings. Terra mitica looks good but a bit of a long drive, we'll look into it. Haven't heard of Terra Natura we'll have to investigate for August, coming out on our own April without the kids, they don't want to do the boring furniture shopping. Looking forward to all the water sports on Mar Menor.

I'll join in - although I am trying to take up golf on the basis if you can't beat them ................. - but got a bit carried away before Xmas on the driving range & ended up at the physio - so a bit nervous now of anything except the 19th. (Which doesn't hurt at all!!)
Your hubby a golfer then? Mine drives me round the twist if he doesn't get a game in when we are over for a few weeks - keeps a spare set over there & is always looking for a golfing partner.
Haven't been on the site for a few days as caught the dreaded 'lurgy' (flu like) which my son kindly passed on. Couldn't keep my glasses on my nose long enough to read the computer screen before sneezing!! Feeling a bit better tonight - but that could be a couple of glasses of wine!

Have just found the time to fill out my profile and upload my avatar - I am fairly chuffed with myself!
We would love to meet any of you guys sometime but at the moment are unable to get over as often as we want due to holidays etc....
